KSVEA XENON Light Sources utilize XENON gas bulbs which
produce essentially pure white light. The color temperature of
the light output remains constant over the life of the bulb -
typically from 500 to 1000 hours of operation.
Since Xenon lamps produce uniform color over the visible light
spectrum of 400 to 700 NM, there is less chance of mis-diagnosis
of tissue anomalies or discerning tissue planes because of not
being able to differentiate on the basis of color rendition.
