Karl Storz hosts another successful Wet Lab!

The Karl Storz Small Exotic Animal wet lab in Palm Beach, FL just prior to the ICE Conference in June 2003 was one of the most successful events we have ever had. With the instructional expertise of Dr. Michael Murray, Dr. Michael Taylor, Dr. Stephen Hernandez-Divers and Dr. Scott Stahl, the attendees were able to perform hands-on training with multiple exotic species, to include pigeons, iguanas and turtles.

With a high instructor-to-student ratio, there was substantial attention given to each lab participant. In addition to the technical training, participants also learned ergonomics of endoscopy and care and cleaning of equipment, as well as being exposed to the significant profit potential of endoscopy in an average veterinary practice.

Not only did we have attendees from the United States, but attendees came from all across the world to participate in this renowned course, including Belgium, England, Italy, South Africa and United Arab Emirates!

They came with some knowledge of Endoscopy and left with a thorough understanding of the basics and a new sense of excitement and anticipation at the prospect of what endoscopy will do for them and their practices. “I am excited about everything” says Dr. Tina Kaldenberg from South Africa as the second day came to an end.
