KARL STORZ builds first Veterinary Endoscopy Teaching Center in North America

Dr. David Twedt, Director of the CSU Veterinary Endoscopy Teaching Center and Dr. Christopher Chamness, General Manager of KSVEA at the Grand Opening of the center.

Veterinary education took a giant leap forward this year with the opening of the Veterinary Endoscopy Teaching Center located at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado.

KSVEA was proud to fund a $30,000 remodel and provide $120,000 worth of state-of-the-art equipment for two complete surgery and diagnostic stations.

The opening of the teaching center represents the beginning of a new era for continuing education in minimally invasive procedures for animals. Our vision for this center will be the advancement of endoscopy through education.

The facility is currently being used to teach veterinary medicine students, residents and interns, and provide a place for graduate veterinarians to develop or refine their endoscopic skills.

Numerous Continuing Education courses will be offered at the center throughout the year including: Flexible GI Endoscopy, Small Animal Laparoscopy, Respiratory Disease & Diagnosis, Canine Arthroscopy, and Operative Laparoscopy and Thoracoscopy. For additional information on courses visit the CSU Veterinary Endoscopy Teaching Center web site or call 800-457-9715.
